A complete, chronological walkthrough for accessing and ordering on DarkMatter Market. Follow these steps precisely to ensure operational security and successful order fulfillment.

Environment Setup

Before accessing any darknet resource, your local environment must be secured. Do not use a standard browser or VPN alone.

  • >> Download Tor Browser only from the official source (torproject.org).
  • >> Install on a secure OS (Tails OS recommended for maximum OpSec).
  • >> Click the shield icon in Tor Browser and set Security Level to "Safer". This disables JavaScript on non-HTTPS sites and prevents many common exploits.

Use the verified V3 Onion address below. Never use links from clear-web wikis, Reddit, or Telegram channels as they are often phishing mirrors.

Captcha System

Upon loading, you will face a DDoS protection challenge. DarkMatter uses a rotating clock captcha or matrix text. Solve it to proceed to the login screen.

Account Creation

Registration is open. Click "Register" on the main landing page.

  • Choose a random username completely unrelated to your real identity or other aliases.
  • Generate a strong, unique alphanumeric password (30+ characters recommended).
  • Set a PIN code for withdrawals (6 digits).

CRITICAL: MNEMONIC PHRASE

Upon registration, you will be shown a Mnemonic Phrase. Save this offline immediately. It is the ONLY way to recover your account if you lose your password. If you lose this, your funds and account are lost forever. Admins cannot reset passwords.

PGP Setup & 2FA

Never order without PGP configuration. This enables Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and encrypted communication.

  1. Generate a PGP key pair using GPG4Win (Windows) or GPG Suite (Mac), or command line (Linux).
  2. Navigate to Settings > Security on DarkMatter.
  3. Paste your Public Key into the designated field.
  4. Decrypt the challenge message provided by the market to verify ownership.
  5. Enable 2FA: Once verified, check the "Enable 2FA" box. You will now need to decrypt a message every time you login.

Deposit Funds

Navigate to the Wallet tab. DarkMatter Market utilizes a centralized wallet system.

Monero (XMR) - Recommended

Maximum privacy. Ring signatures hide sender/receiver.

Requires 10 confirmations (~20 mins)
Bitcoin (BTC)

Less private. Use coin mixers before depositing.

Requires 2 confirmations (~20-30 mins)

Note: Generate a new address for every deposit. Never reuse addresses.

Making a Purchase

Browse listings or use the search filter. Always check Vendor Level, Trust Score, and recent reviews before buying.

ENCRYPT YOUR ADDRESS

Never send your address in plain text, even if the market has an "Auto-Encrypt" box. Always encrypt manually using the Vendor's PGP key.

Finalization & Escrow

Funds are held in Escrow by the market until the order is complete.

  • Normal Escrow: Wait until the product arrives physically. Inspect it. Then log in and click "Finalize" to release funds to the vendor.
  • Auto-Finalize: If you do not finalize within 14 days, the system will release funds automatically. Extend escrow if shipping is delayed.
  • WARNING - Finalize Early (FE): Never finalize an order before receiving it unless you trust the vendor explicitly. Once finalized, market staff cannot help you if the package never arrives.
